Not so sure about that....Talked to a Director of Corporate sales for a hotel chain here in the area yesterday. They are getting a surcharge on EVERY shipment of anything )food, linens, etc,) coming into the hotel because of the increased gas cost. One small thing she mentioned: The cost went up DOUBLE on soda drinks...Just in the last week!!! Cans filled with liquid are heavy, and therefore cost more money to ship.... So the charge in the vending machines has gone from $1.25 to $2.50 overnight. It will be the same at the grocery stores, and trickle down the line.
