Obvious common sense. No one else had the means, opportunity and motive to kill the Kennedys, and both Kennedy assassinations resulted in strong evidence there was more than one shooter, in both cases that evidence was then covered up. Hoover had to have played a role. He was the most powerful rightwinger in the country at the time. The Kennedys tried to take him down and they paid the price. But Hoover had help. From several sources. Can't know the details because it was covered up, including by wacking the witnesses. Oliver Stone's film was not fiction except for the Donald Sutherland character.
