"don't forget that Clinton also "deported" Elian Gonzales."

I remember that well. I also remember the argument how Elian would be better off in the US. Did you know the shoe is often on the other foot? Apparently, if a couple is married, one spouse is German and the other is American, and they have one or more children. They later divorce and the American parent gets custody. If the non-custodial parent takes the kids to Germany, the German courts almost always refuse to return the children because they are better off in Germany?

Elian Gonzalez was a mistake, but it wasn't that big a deal. And since the rightwing wants to arrest all illegal aliens, it's also totally hypocritical of Bushies to even mention it.

Ted, don't forget that Clinton also "deported" Elian Gonzales.

No wonder 500 Cuban-Americans gave Florida to Bush in 2000 ... ;-)

And what they got for their efforts is two Bushes in power. I wonder how they feel now about their decision to vote for Bush? Would it surprise you if they were not happy? It wouldn't me. ;-)
