If you believe government CPI numbers, then you probably also believe that there are WMD's in IRAQ, that Clinton never did anything with that girl, that Global Warming is only a theory, and that Supply Side Economics does more than just line the pockets of the Elderly Rich ?? Dream on, lie believer. over the past 8 years, my house is up 120%, gas is up 120%, my car is up _only_ 25%, the cost of my retirement is up 250%, we pay about 200% more for food since we decided not to eat hormones and GMO's - my salary is up 0% - in short, I am seeing about 100% price increases in 8 years relative to my salary, I'd have to be a moron to believe Greenspan, Clinton, and Bush, and Bernanke.
