JCP, I suggest you read some of Warren Buffet's thoughts on our taxation of the rich.

I haven't, but it seems he and I would agree on a lot of things. I remember when he proposed getting rid of Prop. 57 here in California, the one which limits property taxes. That brought a LOT of negative reaction, but I for one got his point. It's all part of restructuring the tax code, but what matters most is the context.

His comment is "If there's a class war here in America, MY class is winning!"

I respect Warren Buffet, but this statement strikes me as very insincere. "Oh poor me, I wish rich guys like us could pay more taxes." Riiiiight, and I wish I could stop eating Popeye's fried chicken.
