Remember those old discussions you got into about why you need to hold your own physical, but nobody wanted to hear about it? Do you suppose anyone considers that these ETFs and their storage protocols will make it oh-so-easier for the Men in Black to pull a quasi-Roosevelt and seize the whole PM pile at once (in the name of national security, of course) when the feces hits the fan? Or at least one heck of a big PM pile anyway?

That gold and silver you thought you owned? Sorry for the inconvenience, but here's a claim ticket. And don't call us, we'll call you about when and on what basis of exchange you can have it back. Welcome to Argentina North, y hablamos espanol tambien.

Sound hokey? Given enough time, sometimes hokey has a way of turning into reality

Ralph, isn't there only 100 million oz in Comex? And I think some of that is contracted. So where is the silver going to come from??

I am going over all the silver stocks I know of to try and figurre which ones will provide the best percentage rise as silver proxy's.

Just in case this silver ETF does impact supply and start affecting price.
