I pay $8. I would call their international trading desk for more information.

I really am more of an investor than a trader. You do have to fool around with the real time Canadian exchange quote and converting it to US to make your bid through the pink symbol. They are very quick, usually rated one of the fastest.

It is worth it to me to make the calculations and I like having all my accounts in one place. MP

MP, how fast is the execution with FIDO on Canadian stocks? I use IB because it has direct access but would appreciate another route.

Commissions are the standard commissions?

Yes - commissions are the standard online commissions at whatever level you qualify for (I pay $8 a trade). And FIDO's execution on Canadian traded shares is VERY fast - usually a few seconds for market orders (or limit orders where I put a limit a few cents over the current bid). I just use the pink sheets symbol - but FIDO routes directly to Canadian exchange
