We were never a democracy. A democracy is dangerous and if unchecked leads to statism. We were a limited democracy and at one time only those who were educated, owned property and were men could vote. Unfortunately, we will probably never return to that, but once we eliminated those restrictions you can chart the results. :) How am I a "flip-flopper?" Read through some of my 12,000 plus postings back to 1996 and you'll see I have always been consistent! Father Terrence
