Pat Roberts was a chief accomplice in fudging the intel on Iraq to fool his colleagues into voting to disarm Saddam by force. And remember, that's what the resolution really was, not a plan to invade and occupy, but a plan to forcibly disarm and only invade as a very last resort if Saddam made big trouble. But Saddam was being pretty cooperative and n o WMD were found, but Bush had already decided to invade no matter what. That was Bush's big lie, that he had decided to invade no matter what and so all the dog and pony shows about WMD were pure BS.
