Bottom line, while the US media could be critical, it isn't.

OK. Bush's poll ratings are 32% because the American public is suddenly reading foreign media?

Or Bush's poll ratings are 32% because the American public is reading US media, but seeing through their hidden pro-Bush agenda?

Or Bush's poll ratings are 32% because the American media is criticizing the adminstration and presenting an honest opinion of the current problems, and the public is responding?

Take your pick.

How can the general public, who don't really give a damn about politics, dislike the performance of the president in the media is not being critical?

Where I live, the general public loves the ruler, because the media tells them the ruler is fantastic.
