It's becoming clear to me that you are pretty simple in your outlook. Tax cuts are great, especially when we run the twin risks of deflation and recession. So I agreed with Bush's tax cuts, but I hated Congress' implementation. They benefitted the rich mostly. If you want tax cuts to get us out of a recession and jolt the economy, then you don't cut taxes to the rich, who mostly save their money. You cut taxes to the poor and middle class who spend it all. Why? Because Aggregate Demand = Consumer Spending + Business Spending + Government Spending - Taxes. Goose the Consumer Spending # and lower taxes and you boost Aggregate Demand, which boosts the economy.

However, if you continue running deficits even when the economy is strong like it is now, then you are doing only one thing and that is borrowing from the future to pay for today. That is reckless and frankly it is NOT Republican. The Republican party I grew up with was fiscally conservative. This one is fiscally reckless and profligate.

If you are against tax cuts you were NEVER a republican.

Being for tax cuts when the country is in a recession and at war is not a Republican; its an idiot. Are you an idiot, shortie?
