Bush's first choice for Sec. Of Treasury was Ken Lay.
Lay turned it down. You can hear the Enron traders on tape high-fiving each other about Lay maybe becoming part of the Bush cabinet.

It is absolutely true Bush-Cheney-Enron were working closely together leading up to the 2000 election and through it for the duration of the massive energy gouging. They were team mates. If you deny this you are either gullible and naive, or dishonest.
