Depends on what you mean. You are correct, I believe, as to the long-term effects. If, however, you are a trader, or short-term speculator, you do have to worry about the short-term fallout from this overly reactionary press coverage on the masses of North American investors (as was seen on the share prices of many of these stocks last week).
