Just got back from seeing United 93. I've never seen anything like it in all my years. I am stunned at the level of incompetence on the part of several agencies, including NORAD. Terrorists who see this movie will drool at the chaos that was created by a few of their own.

I can sympathize to a certain extent just because what happened that day was so unthinkable, but I have come away angrier than ever that our govt created walls that prevented us from using information that could have saved all of those lives. As far as stopping the NSA from tracking terrorist phone calls into or out of our nation.......the dems had better know what they are doing when they threaten this or that investigation. And Feingold is just plain nuts if he thinks Americans are going to climb on his leaking ship.

The way it was portrayed, I can only imagine that the wailing, crying, moaning despair coming from the victims of that flight must have sounded like Hades itself. And I felt totally drained at the end when I realized (not that I hadn't thought of it, but it's different when you see it unfold in front of your eyes) that it was too late........that the brave souls on that flight waited just a few minutes too long to take action. I think if they'd reacted sooner they would have made it. But of course we'll never know.

I found myself muttering under my breath quite often...bastards..cowardly bastards. Sick bastards.....sick and demented religious fanatics.

I don't think there was a dry eye in that theater when it was over. A truly sad, sad film yet one that each and every one of us should see. It should be standard curriculum in 11th grade.
