The letter from Iran actually was a series of letters that fell out of the president's desk in Tehran and were stolen by a top level spy and rushed to the White House. Roughly they translate as follows.

The all start with the salutation, "Dear George.."

And the first lines are as follows, letters 1 to 8.

1. What uranium?

2. What reactors?

3. I categorically deny that we have any uranium enrichment facilities, but if we did, I must say we would have the same right to have these facilities as the USA.

4. What bombs!? I don't see any bombs! Iran makes no bombs of its own on its native soil.

5. What missiles are you referring to?

6. Defensive missiles, I beg your pardon, what are defensive missiles? Do you not have these devices as well?

7. What war are we talking about here? Iran is not at war. Iran is a peaceful nation.

8. A surrender is not completely out of the question, but let me state terms that are honourable for my successor. I have decided to take residence in Syria for the time being.
