With all due respect to Page, he should be a better investigative reporter and not a propagandist. Just so you know, I am not a Democrat or Republican. Both parties are the cause of America's problems and are really nothing more than two sides of the same coin. I read Al Gore's book and he is either a liar or a fool. Either one is not a good thing to be. Global warming (more accurately called 'climate change') has nothing to do with greenhouse gases or hydrocarbons emitted from industry and internal combustion engines. Astronomers as long ago as 1978 began to notice some alarming changes to our sun. It is now well documented that not only the Earth, but the entire solar system is heating up. For example, the polar icecaps on Mars are also melting, just as our planet's icecaps are. It's fine to have opinions, but the facts are that our entire solar system is heating up, the sun has entered some new phase never seen before and it is the cause of Venus, Earth, Mars, the moons of Saturn and Jupiter heating up. Helioseismologists are very concerned. Additionally, the Earth is heating up internally, not our atmosphere. The oceans are warming measurably and that cannot be caused by greenhouse gases. As the poles continue to melt the fresh, cold water will turn off the Gulf Stream and much of Northern Europe will be plunged into a new Ice Age. This is the latest climatology computer modeling supported by scientific measurements and analysis of what preceded past Ice Ages on Earth. Father Terrence
