It's the Pinochio or lack of credibility effect, and a belief that the major CBs US, Japan, China, and Europe will fail to take decisive action in the face of a crack up boom and very serious commodity speculation and inflation. I happened to believe that they will (and are) take action and that this trade is extremely crowded, so am not a holder of any commodity. I could easily be wrong and watch my less crowded position of "conservative" T-bills get butchered in an inflationary fire. I find it incredible there would be any pause in the face of the obvious evidence. Looks like it's show time.
