And Another Thing about Mary Cheney Betsy's Page Isn't one of the goals of the gay rights movement that gays should be treated just like everyone else - you know judged by the "content of their character" not by whom they like to sleep with? Then how come every story about Mary Cheney is about her status as the lesbian daughter of the Vice President rather than about her work as a political operative in the reelection campaign? Do stories about other political aides make sure to talk about their sexual status? Did stories about Kerry's or Edwards' children or Al Gore's go into their sexual choices?
