When you say gold is "still not attracting any attention from the public," I'm not sure what you expect. Millions have their savings and/or pensions tied up in 401Ks which do not give them the option of buying gold. Pensions plans such as for unions or state employees with huge assets do not as a rule just go out and buy metals. So that's a huge amount of investment dollars that are off the table from the get-go. The rest of the big banks are prolly more engaged in capping the POG than pushing it up. And even with all this, the price continues to march up. But you know as well as I do that "attracting attention from the public," as you mean it, is the time to sell.
