Good point. Another thing to watch is the U.S. Dollar, because it will note fare well as Gold increases in value.

The Canadian Dollar is almost at par with our dollar now, only 0.9 now. That will be quite a day if the Canadian Dollar (the looney) is worth more than the U.S. dollar. I love Canada, and no offense meant to our Canadian friends on this thread, but that will be a bad day for the U.S. It will really mean something is amiss in our financial management. How can a country with the largest economy in the world not have a strong currency?
