True enough....

I am encouraged by some polling results that indicate nearly as many people (third, after 'Rep.' and 'Dem.') self-identify "Libertarian" beliefs --- belief in personal freedom, smaller and less intrusive government, balanced budgets, low taxes, less foreign interventions, etc. --- as claim to identify with the policies and programs of the modern Republican or Democratic Parties.

Perhaps... among the vapidness and cynicism of modern 'two Party politics', an American consensus is quietly building, all unnoticed by the media.
