re: I believe that George W. Bush has taken us down a terrible road. I don’t believe the Democrats are offering an alternative. That means we’re on our own to save this magnificent country. The United States of America is a gift to the world, but it has been badly abused and it’s rightful owners, We the People, had better step up to the plate and reclaim it before the damage becomes irreparable.

That's right on... is it going to happen? It's really a test of the founding father's wisdom. Can this thing fix itself?

Seriously, I don't know. The situation we are in probably is the worst in American history. Back in 2000, I got a real sick feeling when things reversed and Bush determined he was president. That was a very serious breach. A new door was opened in this country. To make things worse......Americans did not stand up to stop the GOP juggernaut when they insisted they be admitted into the WH. In fact, Americans were anxious to get the whole affair over and done with inspite of the fact the FF had planned for just such an eventuality. Then 9/11 happened and my worst fears were realized. We are in way over our heads. We will find out just how strong our democracy is. However, its not looking good.........all I hear right now are the sounds of splintering and separation.
