Bush is the least fiscally responsible prez in history, and the Delay congress is even worse. Put them together and that is your entire problem in a nutshell. Remember, Clinton paid for everything, gave us surpluses, and better growth and jobs numbers than Bush, all at the same time. So democrats obviously know how to run an econony better than these Repubs. Much better. Forget about doing away with SS and Medicare. They are the most popular programs in the country and they have been very successful.
