Kerry is stronger than Gore deep-down. When Gore lost he was clearly cheated and he went away and disappeared for 3 years. Also, Gore clearly made a weak move picking Lieberman, did not handle Nader right, lost a debate to Bush and stuypidly distanced himself from Clinton. I like Al, but he didn't quite have the mojo.

Kerry thought he had lost before the Iowa primary and the media was writing him off. He was 30% behind Dean in New Hampshire, a must-win state for him. So what did he do?
Didn't quit. Even after he could have used the cancer surgery as an excuse, of whatever. He came back stronger than ever and beat Dean by 30%.

When Kerry lost to Bush he knew he was partly cheated and did not want to concede, but the math didn't add up, so he gave a strong concession speech, took about 9 months on the sidelines, then has since come back strongly. And you can expect more and more strong speeches and stances from Kerry.

But let's drop this for now because nobody even knows who's running in 2008. 2006 though is right around the corner and that could be the most influential election of the decade.
