LBJ got some right and some wrong. I think he kicked the last dying gasp of racism out of the country. It's not that there aren't still racists, but even they know they are a dying breed. That was a distraction the country didn't need and it looks like neither party is going to embrace Jim Crow again. On the other hand he really screwed up the economy fighting a losing war while increasing social spending. Junior has no accomplishment to offset his total failure. TP
