Ted, Nonsense.......you just said up above the rich will still be rich after they pay higher taxes. We are talking roughly the top ten to twenty percent of the population.....and those few people who are migrating up should be able to afford the higher taxes, and if they can't, they will have to remain upper middle class. Trust me, there are worse fates.

If the rich can dodge the taxes, what's the solution? Make the tax code even more lopsided to compensate? Or come up with a system that fewer rich people can take advantage of?

One thing is for sure, raising the tax rates by itself isn't going to solve the problem. Those who quote Buffet just to bash Bush are just taking ideas out-of-context.
