I have, also the Chesapeake Bay was formed that way. Doesn't mean the Earth didn't flip when her magnetic fields did

I spent last week in the Dry Falls/Sun Lakes area. What a gorgeous area full of wild life and wonderful fishing. So scenic and interesting. We went to the Interpretive Center and learned all about the Great Missoula Flood. I had always wondered about the geological formations in eastern wash. Now I know they were formed by the breaking of an ice dam that formed during the last ice age.

It is a fascinating history and a great place to vacation.
