Right. Tax receipts have not reached the pre-cut high after 5+ years. So either

a) tax cuts don't really bring in increased revenues.

or

b) we are still in a recession.

Now if it is b), why have we been in a recession so long? I mean, not only have taxes been cut, but the government has been borrowing money at an unprecedented rate, pouring more than $1 billion over and above tax receipts into the economy every day. With that kind of stimulus, the economy should have taken off like a scalded cat from the borrowed money alone. So why isn't it?
