Do you enjoy pretending you are stupid? Hmm, actually, I don't think you are pretending...

Your claim: tax cuts increase tax receipts. Your proof: tax receipts still haven't reached their pre-cut high. Your excuse: we are still digging our way out of a recession. My counter: if true, why are we still in a recession? The longest post-WWII recession was a little over 18 months. Here we are at year 5. And that is despite stimulating the economy with a massive influx of dollars, in addition to the tax cuts. Why is the economy performing so badly? Spending is definitely part of the equation if you want to claim recession.
