why not when taxes take 50% of your income, I don't work 80-100 hours a week when tax rates are high, but I did when they were lower

at times I have stop taking any new jobs in July, August if I was into the 50% rate. Just kick back and waited for the next year. That cost the feds tons on money.

CJ, So when taxes go up, however little, he slows his business.

Maybe not his business, but for some other businesses, it could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
