Michael97123, I have vague recollection of Amy Carter selling her bicycle for a tidy sum to a member of the press who was in immediate need of transportation to get to some sort of press conference. I think I remember her running a lemonade stand and the surrounding controversy. The kid's a natural-born capitalist and pragmatist. Let's draft her.

BTW, President Carter's son Jack is planning a run for the U.S. Senate in Nevada. - Holly

Directors of Intelligence

You want to know how dishonest the MSM is in suggesting a military DCI is a bad idea? Check the history of CIA Directors, which includes:

Rear Admiral Sidney M Souers
Lt. General Hoyt Vandenberg
Rear Admiral Roscoe H Hillenkoetter
General Walter Bedell Smith
Vice Admiral William F Raborn Jr.
Admiral Stansfield Turner

All of the above were nominated by – you guessed it – Democrat Presidents. Before now, the Republican Presidents have only nominated civilians or former military men.

Well well.
