I understand that Bush and his supporters have accepted his total failure in the present with the dim hope that history will "redeem" him.

I seriously doubt this.

History is already beginning to prove that he manipulated and lied America into an unnecessary quagmire war of choice, squandering the good will of the entire world. Something many here knew from the git go.

By the way, I'm not a Democrat.

Iraq had no connection to the "war on terror". It was a war Bush chose, for reasons he's not revealed.
