he made clear that STABLE PART OF CURVE <> FLAT. The "curve" he is referring to is average CPU performance. FLAT would = twiddling thumbs. It ain't that. He said that, or that's your interpretation? My interpretation is that stable = more or less flat. (That seems to agree with all the roadmaps we've seen for H206, too.) The "not twiddling thumbs" means they ARE of course working on better designs, but for the future, not in H206. the "time limitation" that second half implies. Henri did not say "but that changes in H107" did he? Or did I miss that? Intel's Conroe/etc. is NOT a "step function" It's going to be a step function in terms of reputation, buzz, reviews, enthusiast desire, etc.
