not sure whats wrong with AAPL stock today. Product looks good to me, I like the look and price of the new MBs, looks very competitive with Dell etc.

I don't know if there is anyway to tell if this launch date had been moved forward from last Tuesday (or even earlier) or not. Which rumor site is the most credible? The Think Secret site once said last Tuesday was the launch.

New product launches are always on Tuesday for retail. But when a new launch is delayed - there are one of 2 reasons.
1. New product has an issue, or not enough inventory.
2. Current line is experiencing strong demand and company sees no reason to disrupt the channel since in the PC world new products mean price reductions.

If the reason for a delay is real, and if it is #2, that bodes well for apple. I think there is a good chance of this, because the MB launch is going out with immediate ship.

It isn't helping the stock though, but this year the stock market has been pretty negative for growth companies.
