i think it was bore (no pun) out the the roe v. wade decision....

and now it has extrapolated to phone calls....

honestly, if this government has nothing better to do than to wiretap my phone, we are in bigger trouble than i ever imagined

That was a result of a USSC decision- -the same way Bush became President in 2000. The court held that the 14th amendment granted a right of privacy.

the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, which protects against state action the right to privacy
