Hatching plans, searching for opportunity, watching for threats. I am not one of those who says keep emotions out of investing. I am perfectly happy to panic. Fear is a friend. Those who think they keep their emotions out of investing are fooling themselves. Which is a very dangerous thing to do. Today is Friday. Next week we disappear, as in awol, for 3 months. I must position the realm for what might happen. I'm sure I'll have sporadic opportunity to inspect cyberspace, but generally, I will be in sunny, hot, long daylight, camembert, nectarine, rose, baguette, tomato, lettuce, onion, olive oil, saline, siesta, troppo mode. When I return, I do not want to find a ransacked realm. I need to time travel and find safety at the other end. Hmmm. Those words "time travel" are reverberating in my head for some reason. A time traveller should carry something of permanent value. Maybe that was General Motors "What's good for GM is good for American"? No, that was last century. Maybe it's "Cyberspace will rule the world". Still maybe true, but there was a big explosion in Y2K in that realm. I'm sure I'll come up with something good. There was something I read here about time travellers and what they should carry. Mqurice PS: With the executioner having announced he will be waiting for me on 1 April 2007, I had best not let too much time elapse. I'm quite partial to having my head attached to my shoulders via my neck. Note to self - don't seek sanctuary in Islamic Jihad countries [or close to them].
