unfortunately, holly, you didn't answer my question...

my understanding is that the current NSA pattern intercept program was not in place prior to the 9/11 attacks, and while there was some evidence that could have been acted upon, and due to human error, was not...many believe (and could be argued) was due to the so called jamie gorelick 'wall' which was constructed during her tenure at the clinton admin....

my question to you is *if* the nsa intercept program, as is now constituted and implement, would have provided sufficient evidence as to thwart the 9/11 attack, would you favor it?

your reference to salem witch trials or mc carthy hearings, imo is a total non sequitur, straw man argument or red herring,

much was intercepted that could have prevented or at least mitigated the 9/11 attacks, yet wasn't acted upon.

You can thank Jamie Gorelick (last of the 9/11 Commission) for the wall preventing transfer of information from CIA to FBI for that.
