HAUP 4.9 Aug 11, 2006 -- SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Hauppage Digital Inc., developer of digital video TV and data broadcast receiver products reported a net profit of $380,341, or 4 cents a share, more than doubling last year's profit of $159,972, or 2 cents a share. Revenue rose to $23.8 million from $19.4 million. The company said much of its sales growth is due to its newly introduced digital TV tuner receivers for PCs and notebooks, along with continued sales growth in TV receivers for media center PCs.
