Laz, Actually, I have always filed my phone (and other) bills after I have paid them.

Another thing many people may not know is that if they dial an 800 (or other toll-free) number or cell phone number, their phone number is recorded by the entity owning the number they have dialed, even if their number is unlisted or restricted.

So, if you plan to dial such a phone number and not have your own phone number recorded for posterity, go to a pay phone to make such calls. - Holly

Had you read what I posted to you, you'd know that the President followed the Constitution & what he authorized the NSA to do was fully within his legal powers.

I simply fail to see what the fuss is with respect to NSA's actions. What shocks me is that folks aren't demanding the journalists & leakers be brought to justice for their crimes.

***

....This program does not involve the NSA listening to or recording conversations. But the spy agency is using the data to analyze calling patterns in an effort to detect terrorist activity....

....Customers' names, street addresses and other personal information are not being handed over as part of NSA's domestic program, the sources said. But the phone numbers the NSA collects can easily be cross-checked with other databases to obtain that information.....
