I've always thought the BEST government would borrow the best from disparate systems. The social safety net of "socialism" combined with the economic dynamism of "capitalism".

Binary arguments prevent such compromises. Even "compromise" gets a bad name.

Of course you do. No need to ask what I meant by it, just come up with your own "strawmen."

I've seen a lot of oppressive actions taken on the behalf of the "common good." You should know that. Just look at all of the complaints over what Bush has done in the name of "homeland security."
