That Indian gets stopped because of his looks. Yes, that's right, that Indian gets stopped because of his looks... hey, if one's feelings are hurt, well, so what? We're fighting a war, most people understand, and you can't make believe it's okay to wave on someone who, for their misfortune, fits the obvious profile of a moslum extremist... and so then you attack another poster's patriotism if you disagree with them? What happened to your "Liberty and justice for all?" Or was that just an attempt to take a jab because you're frustrated? GZ

The necessity for this type of profiling does not make me happy. Nor does the wiretapping. I recognize however that we are at war with an enemy who targets civilians through a reverse type of profiling that takes advantage of our freedoms to hurt us. We cannot not respond. Should we put moslems, citizens and non-citizens alike in camps like FDR did with Japanese Americans. Hell no. Should we be more diligent with folks who fit the profile of the hijackers past and present. Hell yes. Doesnt mean the next attack wont be by a "caucasian" grandmother, but even you must admit that that is a less likely scenario. When the war is won, I yearn for the day that there will be on security lines at airports and i could appear at a gate 10 minutes before takeoff and hop on the next plane, no questions asked. First the war needs to be won. PS We should have an independent panel of well respected folks who review what the government is doing and who have real power and ability in reversing what is excessive.
