Anti-Semitism is Today a Left-Wing Phenomenon
This long letter is part of a debate going on among members of a google group, Via-Resistancia, that I often use as a resource. I am not authorized to participate in the group, only to read their messages and articles. Here the gradual shift of Jewish allegiance from right to left is elucidated. The author, a former co-worker of Le Pen, reminds us that the Jews had betrayed Le Pen long before he betrayed them. He is advising Jews to return to the right, as it is now a matter of their survival. He is expressing hope that a reformed FN under Marine Le Pen will succeed in winning the Jewish vote. Although I am not Jewish I greatly appreciate your editorials for their clarity and their intelligence. But I must express a difference of opinion on one of them: I think that the Jews of France should revise their attitude towards the Front National. It is just as scandalous that Marine Le Pen was not present for Ilan[1] as it is that Ph. de Villiers was forcibly removed. The Jewish community did not say that.
In the last election the national political right, which Le Monde calls "extreme right", garnered 18% of the votes on a platform that rejected immigration and the Islamization of France. It is a party without a succession due to a reversal, in the '70's, that had tragic political consequences for the French right and indirectly for the Jewish community.
The national right, after the Suez expedition and after the Algerian War was very pro-Israel and anti-Arab: it supported Tzahal during two wars against the neighboring Arab states. It supported Tzahal at the time of the incursion into Beirut to help the Christians. Brigneau* and Le Pen publicly supported Israel against the Gaullist pro-Arab policy. But in the '70's, one part of the Jewish community - the intellectuals - rallied the post-1968 left. They became pro-immigrationist in the name of some bogus anti-racism that led to the emergence of a pro-Arab, and today pro-Islamic, lobby, and they accused of racism anyone who warned of the predictable dangers (which have today materialized) of the insane French immigration policy by demonizing them and excluding them from the democratic process.
Long before Le Pen made his disastrous and unacceptable wise-cracks...Jewish institutions had rallied behind the slogan "anti-racism = pro-immigration". The then president of CRIF** was a disaster for the French Jewish community, setting it tragically onto the wrong path.
Le Pen, invited to the US by the world congress of Jews during his presidential campaign of 1988, committed the faux pas of calling the holocaust a "detail". Having lost ground within his own party where anti-Semitism had regained strength for the reasons I outlined above, he refused to apologize and made permanent the split between the community that had hardly helped him and the national right.
All of that did not prevent: 1) his progress in the elections 2) the manipulation of him by Mitterand 3) the manipulation of him by Chirac [and Jospin! 2] in 2002 - it was obviously organized even before the first round of voting.
But the worst of it is that many Jewish intellectuals have succombed to the illusion that they are fighting against a re-birth of Nazism, when in fact today's Nazism is the very Islamism planted on French soil via immigration, with the result that all debate on immigration has been impossible for 25 years because: anti-immigration = anti-Arab = anti-Islam = racism = FN = Hitler.
Today the debate is beginning, but the harm has been done. Demographically, in 2030, 40% of births in France will be Arab and/or African and above all Muslim...That is why ostracizing an anti-immigration, anti-Islamic party...can only lead to a policy of continued Islamic population growth, whether it comes from the left, or from a centrist right, since either one would benefit from the FN losing 20% of the electorate in the first round of voting in the presidential election. It is the first round that determines the future strategy of the winner of the second round.
You must know that anti-Semitism is not an attribute of the right or of the extreme-right - it is a temptation prevalent throughout history stemming from the unique nature of God's chosen people, the only people who have had, as a people, this special relationship with the All-Mighty. Catholics have shared a type of anti-Semitism [anti-Judaism], but the atheistic left has done much worse because Nazi socialism, which was anti-Semitic, but above all anti-biblical, hence anti-Christian, did not spring from the right, like Leninist socialism, its twin. Today, in France, the most vigorous opponent of Israel is not the national right. Anti-Semitism was the work of Proudhon***, later Maurras***. Today it is more left-wing than right. And it will continue to grow since the left has based its political future on immigration, and Chirac, who knows this, has been trying pitifully to imprint his policies onto those of the left.
That is why it is time to turn a page in the history of France. Marine Le Pen will succeed her father, and already she is steering the FN onto a more democratic, non-extremist [read Zionist] course by breaking with this interlude of confrontation with the Jewish community. The community is in danger: it must have a second round of voting that will result in the toppling of the pro-Arab, pro-Muslim policy of immigration. The next president of the French Republic must be a rightist and elected without any leftist votes the way Jacques Chirac was in 1995...and again in 2002, when, after doing everything he could to be opposed by Jean-Marie Le Pen, he then turned around and rejected those votes in order to be elected by the left. The night of the election he was acclaimed by tens of thousands of immigrants at the Place de la Bastille.

* François Brigneau was the pseudonyme of Emmanuel Allot who collaborated with Jean-Marie Le Pen in 1958
** CRIF stands for "Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France". I do not know the name of the president to whom he refers.
***Pierre-Joseph Proudhon was a 19th century economist, writer and social theorist who is considered the founder of anarchy. His version of anarchy is quite different from the usual notions of unbridled chaos. There is information about him here, but there is no reference to his anti-Semitism. Charles Maurras who died in 1952 was a fierce nationalist eventually condemned for collaboration with the enemy. See wikipedia.
