Was Dell denuded the day IBM picked up AMD, or did Intel still retain 98+% of IBM's business? Even in the somewhat unlikely scenario that Dell does sell AMD systems they could severely handicap their attractiveness by only offering a few models, or play games with pricing and availability. Low AMD volumes (<10%) in a couple segments and no volumes in the rest may keep Intel happy enough and subdue much of the Wall Street criticism.
