Come now. Information can be provided to YOU regarding YOU by a 3rd party that if provided by them to someone else IS a violation. Doctors, lawyers, and clergy are examples.

However, the info you refer to is commonly just tossed in the garbage by most people. It has already been ruled by the USSC that that act places in the info in the public domain. I think a case can be made that the lack of respect with which most people treat that info indicates it is not privileged.
