America is at a low point because of Bush-Cheney and the American corporate rightwing neocons allied with the rightwing so-called "Christians", who are actually not very Christ-like at all. But the religious right were just used as pawns, the real culprits are the elite CEO types like Cheney, together with the Saudis, Carlyle, Exxon, etc. etc. all the way down the line.

Clearly, even if you give Bush-Cheney a pass for ignoring the 8-6-01 warning and letting 9-11 happen, assuming it was just an oversight, after 9-11 the US enjoyed 95% support from all over the world, even people like Arafat offering his help. So what did Bush do?

Blew it. Blew all that goodwill and brought America to its knees. In fact, our military hasn't been this depleted since after Vietnam, our CIA is in shambles and Homeland Security and FEMA are true embarrassments.

Bush-Cheney's atrociously close big oil, pollutor and energy gouger ties have also hurt the country and the world quite a bit. Plus, Bush-Cheney have clearly been at war with the truth, the free press, free speech, civil liberties, fair voting rights and protection of US jobs, workers rights, safety standards, womens rights, gay rights, civil rights, religious rights (unless you're a Southern Baptist or the like) and then all the corruption they've ushered into DC.

As a result, we are at a low point morally, fiscally, in terms of energy, war, debt-spending, the environment, energy independence and so much more.
