I don't know if it's my disillusioned self talking but aren't those the very types that come to US for funds? Us little people. Us not that well heeled, honest people who worked hard and saved and invested wisely or luckily and made a few bucks that they want and need for purposes divergent - wonderful plans peddled to us with wonderful income easily earned by them.

Don't the really good, honest, well intentioned companies with good plans, good ideas and stuff have money from OTHER sources? Why us? Cause they can't get it from the pros?

As I said - my disillusioned self talking - just to set the stage that MOST if not ALL companies and people we vet for value will end up not so good looking with smudges and question marks.

You think?

We are like the last resort! We can't expect quality - that stuff is grabbed up by the pros well before we get a chance. Time and again I see a company that looks like the beauty I have been waiting for all my life - I look into it and it is privately funded by angels wishing, and often becoming, filthy rich angels.

We try, and succeed once in a while, but it IS a casino atmosphere it is.
