That was an extraordinary time in history. I can remember my Dad and my Grandfather talking about it. When my Dad retired, he became interested and supported the move to put Shoeless Joe into the Hall of Fame.

The article forgot to mention the fact that the White Sox won the series. I picked up a copy of the book for my 13 year old godchild. As it turns out, his father is acquainted with the author so he is going to get it autographed. I browsed through the book a bit before I wrapped it and I'm probably going to pick up a copy for myself. It looks like a good read with a happy ending. :)
