True, but as I've said many times, when I fundraised for Kerry I told instructed about their ethical standards. I was told that if any donor even joked about wanting anything in return the check was to be immediately returned. Unfortunately, sometimes less ethical people win, at least temporarily, being willing to cheat. Kerry may have lost, by a very narrow margin, but he ran a very ethical campaign with zero dirty tricks, zero lying, zero cheating and zero promises to corporate fat cats.
