Don't you find it strange that in a democracy it would be "illegal" to let the people of a country find out what is going on with their government? I realize there is some tension between freedom and national security- but that tension is exploited by the abusers of power far more often than it is exploited by anyone else, imo, of course. I think the sheer tonnage of "classified" material bears witness to the encroachment on our rights to know just what the heck out government is doing- especially when our government is secretly doing thing to us. JMO- of course
