I don't believe that '08 will be about the centrist vote.

There is too much polarization in this country. Fueled by the politicians, the media and the likes of Jackson, Sharpton, Robertson et al.

Candidate clinton will further polarize the vote. Edwards and Clark lack draw. Kerry is still the flip flop artist.
Lieberman is too unpopular with his party. Kucinich and Feingold are (fill in the blanks). Richardson could be clinton's VP choice since every one is so focused on hispanic votes. Gore is toast.

McCain will probably be the right side candidate. Lindsey could be his VP choice. But, many republicans don't like McCain or his politics. Frist - nah. Mrs. Dole - nah. Condi - not yet. Powell - maybe. He is perhaps more centrist than any other candidate of either party. Romney and the rest - don't know enuf yet.

If the economy holds up, the WOT and border security will decide who is the next president. If I'm correct, the candidate will have to 'walk that talk'.

We'll see.
